The Kim,Dong-Shin story (SWALD)
sex.......Now that I have your attention I first like to say that sorry its takin so long for us to update the site, we're a bunch of lazy bastards. Anyway, my name is Ryan Wald and I contribute the mad Trombone playing to CBK. I was born in Taegu,South Korea and was adopted at the wee age of 3 months. So I've lived in Houston for most my life. When I was about 6 or 7 in the 2nd grade my mom made me take piano lessons. Reluctant until about a few years ago it has grown to be a part of my life. Well, I do have the skill most people dont so thats one reason why. In 6th grade I took the tenor trombone as my band instrument and have been playing ever since. I have been pretty succesful thus far and have received numerous honors for all my hard work and dedication. Last year around graduation time I received a message from chris (whom I didnt know at the time) if I wanted to be in CBK. Having no band background I said yes, since I wanted to be part of a band and thought this was a great opportunity. I met the guys a few weeks later and instantly was ready for se.. playing in shows and whatnot. A while later my counterpart Lindsay Dixon (VIXIE) joined up on the alto saxophone and her and I provide the sweet vuloptous horn sound to the ska stage. People/bands I admire: Professor John Hendrickson, Yeong Won, Christian Lindberg, Joseph Alessi, Tony Baker, Vern Kagarice, The New York Philharmonic, The Chicago Symphony, all the all time great composers/conductors, Secret Agent 8, Los Skarnales, David Hillyard, The Slackers, and the the other great ska artists. The horn I used to play on was a bach 42B. This horn did well for me up until recent hassles where i decided to purchase a new horn. I now have a Getzen 3047AFR and I have such a sweet, vibrant sound that I have to use it during the shows. You usually see less complex trombones during ska shows, and you will see that mine is quite complex and very pricy. yo, this is 2, or Stephen Neeley if you prefer, i was dubbed 2 because we just cant have two 'Stephen's' in the band, it would just get too confusing, and i got short changed because my superior was jealous of my dashing good looks and endless sexual energy. Anywho, I am the new guitarist for CBK! we dont need to brush up on my equipment, it will change eventually when i get money, but it works. my previous band was fun, but i wasn't all too interested in what they were doing, and on the verge of quitting, this CBK! opportunity opened up, and after many blowjobs, i was in. or was it because im black? |
